These days the models I add to my collection are mostly resin or ceramic. North Light are made from some kind of powdered resin I believe (correct me if I'm wrong), the original made in England ones anyway. I have a small collection of originals, mostly dogs and horses.

This little guy has been on my wishlist for a long time, as they're pretty hard to find. I bought him from Germany in the end, he was expensive, but I think it is worth it as they're only going to get rarer and more valuable.

Now I'm not an avid Beswick collector but there's the odd figurine that I just have to have. I used to like the horses but went off them a bit after seeing beautiful realistic artist resins that are more to my taste in sculpting. However Beswick bulls are magnificent, especially the Connoisseur Series.
I'm not sure if this series was all like this, but they are matt porcelain.
